Common Questions:
Thank you for being a valued Member of the StayBettr Rewards program ("Program"). The Terms and Conditions ("Terms") of our program are laid out below. Oaks and Empire Strategies, LLC d/b/a StayBettr Vacation Rental ("SBVR") reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate this program at any time for any reason without notice. The benefits of this program are not guaranteed by SBVR, and you will have no rights of redemption beyond those in these Terms.
Definitions:
Program Dates, Prior, and Existing Reservations: The StayBettr Rewards program began on June 1, 2025. No reservation with a check-in date prior to this date is eligible for program Perks, nor are you eligible for refunds or compensation based on any terms of this program. However, stays conforming to these Terms completed after January 1, 2023 may be counted as qualifying activities for this program. Stays commencing after June 1, 2025 are eligible to redeem Perks, even if they were initially booked prior to the program start date.
Membership: Anyone over the 18 becomes a member of the StayBettr Rewards program automatically when they provide SBVR with their legal name and valid email address. Anyone over the age of 18 may self enroll in the program by filling out an enrollment form on the program page. There is no cost or purchase requirement to become or remain a Member.
Combining Memberships: You may combine your membership with members of your household one time. The Member(s) must request this action and provide evidence of a common household, as determined by SBVR.
Temporary Loss of Membership Benefits: Members will temporarily lose all the rights and privileges of this program if they are not Opted into Marketing by SBVR. Members can restore their benefits eligibility by consenting to marketing by SBVR. Perks may not be used during the ineligible period. Members eligible for Status Tiers designation will be restored to the tier they are eligible for at the time of restoration.
Persons Ineligible for Membership: Any person under the age of 18 years old is ineligible to be a Member of the program. Other persons will be ineligible for membership if you, or a member of your household:
If we deem you ineligible, your membership will be immediately terminated and all qualifying activities will be considered null and void. You cannot appeal your termination from program eligibility. SBVR, at its sole discretion, may restore your eligibility to participate in the program, and may establish any requirement it deems reasonable, for you to be restored to membership in the program. SBVR will determine whether prior qualifying activities will be restored. SBVR's decisions regarding eligibility are final.
Voluntary Termination and Life Events: A Member may voluntarily end their participation in the program at any time. You can either formally relinquish your membership by contacting us, stop booking qualifying stays, or you can voluntarily stop using the benefits of the program. Your Membership will automatically terminate at your death, with any current or future benefits of the program forfeited. At SBVR's sole discretion, we may allow a one time transfer of qualifying activities to a surviving spouse after documentation is submitted.
Earning Status Tiers: Members who complete the required number of Qualifying Activities within the currently assessed qualifying periods, as defined in these Terms will be designated with special Status that will be tiered. Status Tier requirements are as follows: All tiers require you complete at least one qualifying activity in the most recent qualifying period. Each tier requires the following total qualifying activities for the assessment period.
The list above also establishes the rank of Status Tiers. Bronze being the lowest and Executive being the highest Status Tiers. SBVR may at its sole discretion wave a Member's requirements for Status Tiers designation. Clients with a valid contract for property management services will receive complimentary Status Tier designation. Professional and Elite Plan clients will receive Executive Tier designation, and Essentials Plan clients will receive Elite status unless they otherwise qualify for a higher tier.
Retaining and Reassessing Your Status Tier: The program will undertake an initial census on June 1, 2025 to set Status Tiers designations for existing Members based on the following qualifying periods: January 1, 2025-May 31, 2025, 2024, 2023. The next, and all future censuses will occur on December 31 each year. The following qualifying periods will be used to set your Status Tier Designation:
To retain your current Status Tier you must make at least one qualifying activity in the current qualifying period period AND have enough total qualifying activities to keep your designation. If you do not have enough qualifying activities at census to retain your Status Tier designation, your status will adjust to the tier you're currently eligible for. If your total qualifying activities required for your tier falls below threshold during the current period, your Status Tier will remain the same until the next census. However, your Status Tier will be upgraded immediately following the completion of a qualifying activity that earns you the next Status Tier designation.
Temporary Loss of Status Tier Designation: A Member will temporarily lose their Status Tier designation if they do not complete at least one Qualifying Activity in the most recent Qualifying Period. A Member can restore their Status Tier designation by completing one qualifying activity. The qualifying activity will be counted as a qualifying activity for Status Tier assessment, but will be ineligible for Perks redemption, as your Status Tier is not restored until the stay is completed. The Member's restored Status Tier designation will be based on their eligibility at the time of restoration.
Utilizing Perks: Members will be eligible to utilize the Perks of their Status Tier designation as well as all the Perks of all lower tiers. However, Perks that are modified or replaced in a higher tier can not be combined with those of the lower tier. Members may not use Perks during periods of temporary or permanent loss of Membership eligibility. Unused Perks have no monetary value, and you will not be compensated if you do not, or are unable to use any of your Perks.
Perks may not be redeemed for cash unless allowed by law. SBVR has determined that the monetary value of all your Status Tier Perks to be one-tenth of one cent. ($0.001). Where allowed by law, you can redeem the value of your Perks once annually by submitting a signed letter requesting payment with your program member details, and a self addressed stamped envelope to us. If you redeem your Perks for cash, you will be ineligible to use Perks on future stays for 12 months.
Limits on the use of Perks: Certain Perks may have periods of ineligibility or blackout dates. Blackout dates vary by region and property, and SBVR is not required to publish a schedule in advance. Additionally, SBVR may designate partially or fully ineligible properties for Perks redemption. Unless otherwise noted, stays at Perks ineligible properties, will still count as qualifying activities for Status Tiers assessment.
Specific Restrictions and Notes on Available Perks:
